Every business reflects the thinking of the person leading it.

In the early days, that usually means the owner does a little of everything: sales, operations, finance, customer service, hiring, and problem-solving. Whatever needs to be done gets done.

That willingness is often what allows a young business to survive, but ironically, it can also become the habit that limits its future. As a business evolve, so too must the business owner evolve from operator to creator.
